Concurrent with the DNA Exhibition hosted by the Planetarium Science Center in cooperation with the British Council, a lecture entitled "The Many Faces of Human Cloning" will be held at 5 p.m. in the Middle Hall at the Conference Center.

The lecture, presented by Professor Lori Andrews, will discuss the technology of human cloning and the debates it has raised. The presentation will also address the relationship of human cloning to infertility treatments and to genetic interventions to cure disease or to enhance child care. Andrews will address the policies other countries have adopted to deal with cloning and will describe the important role Egypt has played in the United Nations debate.

* The lecture will be simultaneously translated into Arabic.
