The Planetarium Science Center (PSC) at the Bibliotheca Alexandrina, is organizing an exhibition to accompany the workshop ‘On the Footsteps of Eratosthenes’. The exhibition will present the astronomical experiments performed by school students during the past year.
During the workshop, held for the third consecutive year, students in Alexandria and Aswan calculate the Earth’s circumference, following the steps taken by Eratosthenes, the third librarian of the ancient library of Alexandria.
