Astronomy Day is usually celebrated between mid-April and mid-May, on the Saturday closest to the first-quarter Moon. The Planetarium Science Center will celebrate the International Astronomy day on 6th of May 2006.  As part of the celebration, a videoconference with NASA Digital Learning Network will be held, where students will exchange information about our nine distinctive planets orbiting one massive star, our sun. They will learn about current NASA missions and to further our exploration of space.
