The BA Francophone Library, in cooperation with the Centre d'Etudes Alexandrines (CEAlex), is organizing this activity for children who are between 8–10 years old.
The workshop aims to answer several questions: How do archaeologists work underwater? What can we discover in a 2,000 year old shipwrecked boat? What can a broken piece of ceramic reveal about the boat on which it was found and the type of shipments it transported?
The workshop will also reveal the effect of water on antiquities and explore the history of the Lighthouse of Alexandria.
No child will be accepted without prior registration. Following the confirmation of your participation, a code will be emailed to you and you are cordially requested to print it out and present it upon attendance.
