The BA Taha Hussein Library for the Blind and Visually Impaired is organizing the celebration entitled “The International White Cane Day” .
The celebration features a number of events including an opening speech by Dr. Ismail Serageldin, Director of the Library of Alexandria, a march from the BA plaza till Biram Eltounsy Theater (Elchatby) through the Corniche avenue and then back to the BA. The celebration also includes competitions, activities, and folkloric shows.
