Protection of the Marine Environment in a Scientific Seminar at the Bibliotheca Alexandria (BA)

Alexandria — As a part of the Bibliotheca Alexandrina’s endeavors to raise the awareness of university students on environmental issues, the BA is organizing a scientific seminar on Tuesday, 4th April 2006 for university students on Global Program of Action (GPA) for the Protection of the Marine Environment. In the seminar, students will discuss means of prevention of the degradation of productivity and biodiversity of the marine environment from land based activities in coastal areas. Dr. Salah Soliman, Advisor to BA Director and Professor of Chemistry, Alexandria University will chair the seminar.
The seminar will start at 16:00 in the BA Third Floating Room.
