Lectures on Water at the BA

Alexandria —the Center for Special Studies and Programs is holding a series of lectures on education, environment, and population growth.

In this context, the center is organizing a series of lectures on the importance of relatively scarce fresh water resources in the world.

The first lecture will be held on Saturday, 9 December 2006 entitled “Means of Rationalizing Water Use in Houses: Creative Ideas”.

The second lecture on Tuesday, 12 December 2006 “Drinking Water: From Source to Tap”.

The third lecture on Saturday, 16 December “Rationalizing Water Use in Agriculture”.

The fourth lecture on Saturday, 23 December “Rationalizing Water Use in Industry”.

Lectures will be given by Dr. Salah Soliman, Advisor to the BA Director and Professor of Chemistry at the Faculty of Agriculture, Alexandria University.

The lectures will be held at the BA Conference Center, open to public.
