Distinguished Guests Visit the BA in February

Alexandria— Several distinguished characters and foreign delegations will visit the BA in February.

Mr. Alain Jupee, former French Prime Minister and his family will visit the BA on Sunday, 18 February 2007. Dr. Ibrahim Abu Shah, President of Mara University of Technology in Malaysia, accompanied by 3 Malaysian businessmen will visit the BA on Monday, 19 February 2007.

A Malaysian delegation; members of the Board of Directors of Selangor Library in Malaysia will visit the BA on Saturday, 24 February 2007, as one of the scientific and cultural sites in Egypt.

Dr. Valerie Mackenzie, presenter of "Morning Talk Show", accompanied by the Thai TV show team will also visit the BA on Sunday, 25 February to interview several Egyptian dignitaries. She will also interview Dr. Ismail Serageldin, Director of the Library of Alexandria.

Mr. Sherif Riad, Director of the BA Public Relations Department will accompany the delegations in a tour of the Library, its affiliated exhibitions and museums, and different services offered by the BA to members and visitors. The tour will include the Manuscripts Museum, the Digital Lab, the Internet Archive, VISTA, the Planetarium Science Center, and the Alexploratorium.
