Insignes de Chevalier for an Arab Woman

Mrs. Hanan El-Rakad, Head of BA Arab Reform Conference Unit, was awarded a high level French medal, insignes de chevalier, from the French Cabinet Office. Mrs. El-Rakad was nominated to the medal by the French Ministry of High Education, in recognition of her work in French literature studies and research.
Mrs. El-Rakad was graduated from the Faculty of Arts, French Department. She finished her post graduate studies in French Translation. She was nominated to several scholarships to France, including a scholarship in library science in Poitiers, and another in external relations in Paris. She participated in several international conferences on Arab women issues. She is a member of the Board of Directors of the BA Friends Association, and Chair of the Association's Media Committee
