A Delegation from Oromiyya Region Visits the BA

A senior delegation from Oromiyya, Ethiopia will visit the BA, as one of the scientific and cultural landmarks in Egypt, on Thursday, 16 August 2007. The delegation will be chaired by Mr. Tariku Negera, Deputy, President of the Executive Committee of Oromiyya, and Minister of Water, accompanied by Mr. Assesa Kumssa Afeta, Director, Department of Designs of Water Projects , Oromiyya, and Mr. Hunde Tult Beyenc, Director, Department of Water Projects, Oromiyya.
The visit is part of the delegation's program of visits in Egypt, within the framework of cooperation between the Nile Basin countries and to effectuate the Nile Basin Initiative.
Ambassador Hagar Islambouly, Head of the BA External Relations Sector and Dr. Sherif Riad, Director of Public Relations Department, will accompany the delegation in a tour of the Library, its affiliated exhibitions and museums, and different services offered by the BA to members and visitors. The tour will include the Manuscripts Museum, the Digital Lab, the Internet Archive, VISTA, the Planetarium Science Center, and the Alexploratorium.
