Personal Donations from All Over the World to the BA

Alexandria— the BA received collections of book donations from all over the world. The BA received a rare book by Mahmoud Bin Omar El-Zamakhshary, donated from Ms. Nashwa Mohamed Ibrahim, Director of the Port Said National Museum. Dr. Mohamed Shaker, Dean of the Faculty of Arts, also donated a memorial book to the BA on the occasion of the Faculty' golden jubilee.

Dr. Idris El-Karawy, Economic Consultant in Morocco, donated a collection of books in Arabic and French to the BA including "Morocco and the Future…Reflections on Economy and Society", and "Methodological Directions and Applied Models".

The BA received 2117 books covering different fields of knowledge from Dr. Kadry Hefni, and 2230 books from Dr. Atef Ramadan Diab, and an encyclopedia and 11 volumes from Dr. Ismail Mohamed Diab. Family of Dr. Abd El-Gleel Abdu Shalby donated 122 books in addition to Lessan el-Arab Encyclopedia to the BA. Zeinab Saed also donated 646 books to the BA.

From Canada, the BA received a collection of CDs containing western music from Mr. Derek E. McDonald. From China, Mr. Yin Minghua, Senior Editor, Jiefang Daily Group donated the BA the latest Sony digital camera in the world. From South Korea, Prof. Jung-Tai Choe, Professor Department of Library, Archives and Information Studies, donated valuable books to the BA on modern libraries.

The BA also received donations from Dr. Lars Jeil, Oslo University, and Mr. Josep Bertran, Regional Director, Manger's Training Program, one of the European Union Projects in Spain.
