The Decade of Solidarity Exhibition at the BA

The BA Arts Center, in cooperation with the Embassy of the Republic of Poland in Cairo, holds on Tuesday, 24 November 2009, an Exhibition entitled “The Decade of Solidarity”, as part of the Polish national celebration.
The Exhibition is held on the occasion of the 20th anniversary of the collapse of communism in Central Europe. It is composed of about 30 pictures illustrating the sacrifices and bravery of Polish people from 1979 to 1989, as well as different events of Polish contemporary history emphasizing that Poland was a pioneer in political changes in Central Europe.
The Opening Ceremony takes place at 1:15 pm. The Exhibition is open for public untill 9:00 pm, and on Wednesday, 25 November 2009, from 9 am to 1 pm.
The Exhibition is held at the BACC West Exhibition Hall.
