Short Film Screenings in December at the BA

Alexandria—The BA Arts Center organizes screenings of short films during December 2009.

The Short Films Forum, held on the first Sunday of each month, screens a number of films under the theme “Films from Alexandria”, by Director Basem El-Turkey, on Sunday 6 December 2009.

The screened films are A fly’s Dreams, Something Hidden in the Sand, Another Feeling, and Astral Body. All films are subtitled in English, and they are screened at the BACC Small Theater.

On Tuesday 8 December 2009, short films from the “Video Moments” Film Festival are screened: Atef, directed by Emad Maher; Note Number 0: 0, directed by Islam Kamal; Transition to Symmetric System, directed by Ahmed Basiouny; Intime/Monde, directed by Yuen; Liquid Crystal, directed by Van MC Elwee.; Collapsing, directed by Ahmed Nabil; and Control Room directed by Medhat Mahmoud Elsoudy. The screening is followed by a seminar with the filmmakers, then the films will be shown again after the seminar.

Screenings take place at the BACC Lectures Hall, at 7:00 pm, and are open to public for free.
