The Big Read Competitions Award-Giving Ceremony at the BA

On Monday, 22 November 2010, winners of the 2010 Big Read Competitions were announced, and participants in the different competitions were honored.
 

The award-giving ceremony featured a lecture by Dr. Nazek Fahmy, Professor of American Literature, Faculty of Arts, Alexandria University, discussing the novel Huckleberry Finn by Mark Twain.
 

The Ceremony also included a presentation on the artistic workshops held during the Big Read 2010 with more than 1130 participants form different age groups, in addition to a hearing and speech impaired group . Organized by the Young People’s Library and the Main Library, the workshops ranged from animation and mosaic to photography and drama for adults.
