The BA receives new book collections

Alexandria, 30 August 2005—The Bibliotheca Alexandrina (BA) has recently received a collection of books from Mr. Mohamed Ali Youssef, Arabic language specialist. The collection comprises over 170 books covering historical, cultural and educational topics. The collection includes Asrar Thawret 1919 (Secrets of the 1919 Revolution), Regal Abdel Nasser wal Sadat (Men of Presidents Abdel Nasser and Sadat), and Shakhseyet Misr (Egypt’s personality); in addition to the complete series of the interpretation of the Holy Qur’an and the complete collection of Imam el Kortobi.

The BA has also received a donation from Egyptian author, Ms. Amany Al Ashmawy, which includes a rare book entitled Dakayek al Mizan fee Makadeer al Awzan, as well as several other books.
