A seminar for exploring the hazardous industrial wastes at the BA

Alexandria, 14 March 2006— Within the efforts of the Bibliotheca Alexandrina to raise the environmental awareness of the youth in Alexandria, it is organizing a scientific seminar with university students, today, chaired by Dr. Salah Soliman, Director’s Advisor at the Bibliotheca Alexandrina and Chemistry professor at Alexandria University, about hazardous industrial wastes.
The seminar aims to come up with solutions to the problem and find different mechanisms of controlling the monitoring of the formation and disposal of industrial wastes since it is very essential in protecting the environment. During the seminar, the youth will contribute with ideas for solving the problem.
The seminar takes place at 4:00 pm at the Meeting Hall.
