The Digital Archive of the Egyptian Stamps
As a continuation of its endeavour to preserve heritage for future generations in digital form, the Bibliotheca Alexandrina (BA) launched The Digital Archive of the Egyptian Stamps. The project is the outcome of collaboration of the Information and Communication Technology (ICT) Sector and the Center for Documentation of Cultural and Natural Heritage (CULTNAT), at the BA.

Encyclopedia of Life breaks the one million species milestone
Encyclopedia of Life provides global access to knowledge about life on Earth by building a web page for each of the 1.9 million recognized species. Launching EOLv2 with more than 700,000 species back in September 2011, EOL has recently hit the one million species milestone.

Global Informatics Collaboration Creates Latest Encyclopedia of Life Platform
