In Cooperation with the Bibliotheca Alexandrina, El-Nasr Boys School organized its second annual Science and Engineering Fair (EBSSEF)on 4 February 2013, where students had the chance to increase their awareness of scientific method of thinking.

The PSC announces vacancies for application in the Mid-Year Program, groups “B” and “C” (Birth Date from May 1997 to June 2003). The Program takes place during the period 26 January-7 February 2013, and encompasses various workshops, projection of a scientific movie at “Listen and Discover Hall”, a Planetarium show, and a visit to the ALExploratorium.

Bringing science to Life! – the Super Science Show(SSS) is fun, fast-paced and most importantly, educational! The Super Science Show is a theatrical show where science is animated in a fun and exciting manner. Life on the stage, the viewers will discover the marvels of science through magical demonstrations. Demonstrations are based on the scientific integration of the different fields of science like chemistry, physics and biology to excite school students and stimulate their curiosity to learn. The SSS theme is changed every year to tackle a new scientific pressing issue

This year ISC-Arab was organized under the patronage of the Ministry of Education, and UNESCO in the United Arab Emirates from 16 to 19 December at the Dubai World Trade Centre. The four days event gather more than 100 students to present 69 projects to an elite panel of judges.

Under the main theme “Paradigm Shift―Changing Architecture, Technologies and Players”, the Nano-Satellite Symposium was held from 10 to 13 October 2012 at Nagoya, Japan. The Symposium is an academic meeting promoting technological development of nano-satellites and their application, as well as enhancing awareness about their benefits.
