Our meeting began with Dr. Salah Soliman and Dr. Manal ElBatran who gave a hint on the AEYC (Arab Environmental Youth Convention) which will be held in the BA from 25 October till the 28th. Dr. Mohamed Madani and Dr. Mostafa Tolba were our guests for the day.
The presentation of the day was by Dr. Mohamed Madani from Horticulture Research Institute. The subject was “Climate change and agriculture” which is happening now due to the variation in temperature in the last few years. He clarified for us some concepts like the weather and the climate and the difference between them and that the climate change has a direct effect on agriculture in Egypt. He also explained how climate change happens and what are the green house gases that are that play the major role in warming out planet.
