The African League of Young Masters (ALYM) was launched in July 2011 in Bibliotheca Alexandrina. This program is mainly directed to African students studying in Alexandrina university. It aims to open channels of communication between those African students and their Egyptians peers through holding weekly meetings (On Saturdays from 3.00 to 5.00 pm) and other activities during which the two parties share and exchange knowledge and experience. It also aims to strengthen the Egyptian-African relations on the long run through producing future ambassadors for Egypt in different African countries.
