A 3 day workshop In cooperation between the Bibliotheca Alexandrina (BA) and the Regional Office of Friedrich Neumann Foundation for Liberty (FNF) in Cairo.
Climate change threatens the livelihood of millions of Egyptians by cutting key agricultural crops, flooding tourism destinations and potentially forcing millions of Egyptians to migrate. “Blogging against Climate Change” aims to increase public awareness on the negative consequences of climate change on the environment and empower youth by giving them the tools and information of citizen journalism to deliver their message.
This workshop was aiming at the awareness of young people aging between 12 to 18 for the importance of “learn with me” program for water preservation.
About 15 of our youth participated in this program.
The advisors for special projects organized a 2 days event “Sketch Youth Future” on 12and 13 July 2009, aiming to display and demonstrate the various differences between the school and the university systems. A group of youth discussed the difference between college and school, the major problems facing universities students and their future dreams Representatives from different faculties presented about different branches in their respective faculties in order to help school students in their future orientation.
