The BA Presents Egyptian Documentaries by Abdel-Kader El-Telmesany

Alexandria— The BA Arts Center celebrates the Centenary of the Egyptian Cinema through the Short Film Forum, organized by the Center starting Sunday, 3 June 2007.

The Short Film Forum is devoted to honor one of the pioneers of the Egyptian cinema, Abdel-Kader El-Telmesany (1924-2003). As part of the program, the Art Center presents three documentaries directed by El-Telmesany on Islamic and Coptic decoration, and art in the village.

In appreciation of El-Telmesany, the Arts Center devotes its 61st newsletter of the cinema programs to his 53 documentaries, which he had directed from (1975-1995). The newsletter includes a description of each film and its duration.

The shows start at 18:00 hrs. at the BA Auditorium.
