*Volunteering Opportunities at the Visits Department for Students and Fresh Graduates - Tours Section
The BA Visits Department of the External Relations and Media Sector is pleased to announce that it is accepting a new group of volunteers at its Tours Section during the mid-year vacation 2027.
Available Opportunities
The guide takes visitors (individuals and groups) of different nationalities on tours of the Library in different languages (Arabic, English or French) during which he/she explains the history and services of the BA.
The guide presents and explains Culturama shows in Arabic, English, and French, which cover the history of Egypt, its civilization, and its various monuments through the ages, using nine interactive screens, in addition to presenting some other special shows.
Qualifications and Skills Required
- General knowledge of historical events.
- Good command of Arabic and proficiency in at least one foreign language (English or French).
- Neat and formal appearance.
- Excellent verbal communication and customer service skills.
- Problem-solving skills.
- Ability to work under pressure.
- Fast learner and reliable.
- Flexibility when needed regarding working hours (shifts, weekends and public holidays).
- Training Period
- The training period consists of 200 hours (nearly 2 days a week)
- Volunteers receive certificates at the end of the volunteering period.
Age Group
Students and fresh graduates (19 – 29 years old).
