“Boundless” Cultural Diversity Media Award

The Boundless Media Award, honouring cultural diversity and cross-border journalism, aims to improve the professional interplay and exchange of experiences of young journalists from different cultures in the Euro-Mediterranean region and the area of the European Broadcasting Union (EBU). The winners of the competition will participate in the Young Euro-Mediterranean Academy for Intercultural Journalism that will initiate its international six week training programme in 2008. In seminars and practical workshops in Cologne, Germany, the winners will meet media experts from different countries and gain valuable intercultural and journalistic qualifications. Traineeships at broadcasting corporations in the area of the European Broadcasting Union and the Permanent Conference of Mediterranean Audiovisual Operators (COPEAM) will offer further professional and personal experiences for the winners of the competition.
