Hassan Fathy Architectural Award
The Library of Alexandria, in collaboration with Architecture Committee of the Supreme Council for Culture, announce the Hassan Fathy Architectural Competition. The aim of the competition is to promote contemporary Egyptian architecture, and encourage and commemorate Egyptian architects. The theme of this cycle is “Identity in Contemporary Egyptian Architecture”. The deadline for submission of documents is Wednesday 14 October 2009. The Hassan Fathy Award Competition 2009 event will be held on  Wednesday October 28th, 2009 at the Great Hall -  Bibliotheca Alexandrina  at 10:00 am.
