On 14 April 2005, Alex Med invited the eminent international architect Jean Pierre Heim give a lecture at the Bibliotheca Alexandrina. Mr. Heim, an Alexandrian by birth, is a visionary designer with an active interior design practice in New York and equally active architectural practices in Paris and Athens. He has designed for Puifortcat, Van Cleef and Arpels, Baccarat, Revillon, Christian Lacroix, Lanvin, Lancel and Club Med amongst others. Heim is also a French Foreign Trade Advisor.
