An exhibition on Alexandria entitled Tracing the Routes of Memory was organized jointly at the Bibliotheca Alexandrina by Alex Med and the Arts Center between 18 February and 17 March 2007. This exhibition explored the city of Alexandria by touring different places along the tram route. The atmosphere of the 19th and 20th centuries was evoked through different means including photography, audio recordings and film, written texts, narration and music, as well as conveying the thoughts and feelings of famous poets and writers who lived in the city.

This exhibition was held under the patronage of the Greek Ministry of Culture, in collaboration with the Hellenic Literary and Historical Archive, and with DG Dimension Digital Productions.
