A book entitled al- Siraj al-Wahhaj fi Mo'alajat al-Amrad al Batina
(The Luminous Lantern in the Treatment of Internal Ailments) by Ibrahim Abdul-Ghaffar.
The book describes a number of commonly known internal diseases that afflicted people
at that time, their symptoms and potential cure for each disease.
It was printed in 1281 AH/ 1864 AD during Khedive Ismail's reign, at a time
when the Bulaq Press was owned by ' Abdul-Rahman Roushdi, and run by Hussayn Hosni.
