The Planetarium Science Center (PSC) in collaboration with Intel Egypt and the Ministry of Education are organizing Intel Bibliotheca Alexandrina Science and Engineering Fair from 13-15 March 2016. In the closing ceremony, four winning projects will be announced, which will represent Egypt in the Intel International Science and Engineering Fair (Intel ISEF) in the USA during the period from 8-13 May 2016.

The Bibliotheca Alexandrina (BA) in collaboration with Intel Egypt and Sharaf Foundation for sustainable development have organized the sixth Intel Science Competition – Arab World from 17 to 19 December 2015, in which more than 110 students from 11 Arab countries have participated in the competition. They presented 77 projects and competed for prizes worth 20,000 US dollars.

The Planetarium Science Center will host Intel Science Competition, from 17 to 19 December 2015. This competition is an annual Arab exhibition, in which more than 120 preparatory and secondary students from all around the Arab World participate. The participants will show their researches and scientific innovation in 20 different scientific fields. They will also compete together to win different awards and scholarships.
