The permanent exhibition of "Boulaq Press" in Bibliotheca Alexandrina was chosen as a member of the International Association of Printing Museums.

 In collaboration with Calligraphy Center, the Manuscript Center is organizing a course titled "Manuscripts and Arabic Scripts".

Al-Busiri's Mosque is unique among other mosques in Alexandria because of the richness of its walls with inscriptions and old engravings, including 94 verses from Al-Burda, his eulogy poem of Prophet Mohammad.

BA took the responsibility of publishing this book to address the children interested in exploring the civilization and language of ancient Egypt.

The lecture takes place at the BA, Main Building – Auditorium, on Monday 11 May 2015 at 12.00 Noon.

The lecture will be given by Dr. Ossama Elnahas,  colleague at  Nasser Military Academy and Inspector at Ministry of Antiquities  on Tuesday  18 November 2014,  at the auditorium hall at 11.00.

The lecture is given Prof. Stephen Quirke, Professor of Egyptian Archaeology and Philology, UCL Institute of Archaeology at the  University College London.

The lecture  will focus on the idea of death and resurrection from the Book of Dead which is considered as an ancient Egyptian funerary text.
