Calligraphy Studies Center started its cultural season with a seminar about the “Writings and Inscriptions in Coptic Monasteries”.

For the third time, Calligraphy Studies Center organized an Ancient Greek Course. It is one of the educational courses presented in the field of Ancient Languages and Calligraphy Studies.

This book is considered the first of its kind in its field of specialization published in the Arabic language. Bibliotheca Alexandrina is celebrating the “Awards of the 4th Arabic Calligraphy Competition for Students of Alexandria’s Schools” and exhibition for the student’s calligraphy works, in the annual occasion of the International Day of Arabic Language, on which the United Nation made its decision to adopt the Arabic language within the official and working languages of the General Assembly and its Main Committees.

In collaboration with Alexandria directorate of education, The Calligraphy Studies Center, organizes the 4th Arabic Calligraphy Annual Competition for the students of Alexandria schools.

On the occasion of the 10th anniversary of the Bibliotheca Alexandrina,the Calligraphy Studies Center launched the Digital Library of Inscriptions and Calligraphies.
