In the range of 28-31 weeks twins and singletons hardly differed in birth weight and birth length. The differences gradually increase with gestational age. Without adjustment for size at birth, the odds ratio for twins climbed up faster after around 34 weeks. Their mortality also show an upturn after about 38 weeks.
