So I started to think, well given what I’ve seen so far, what are the things I might expect for professional literature to talk about. They might talk about increased daily function, improved test performance, reduced risk of dementia, a decreased rate of cognitive decline, maybe even preventing dementia. And I really thought I’d read about changes in the brain – cerebral changes in terms of what regions are used – maybe increased dendritic networks – nerve growth – maybe neurochemical changes and I expect that partly because of some of my reading in the past on cerebral reorganization and some interesting work that has been done there.
